    Double Island Point Beach

'Summer' Double Island Point, QLD, Australia

    Parliament Moon

    'Parliament Moon', Canberra, ACT, Australia

    Teewah Sunset

'Teewah Sunset' Noosa North Shore, QLD, Australia

These are just a sample of the wonderous sights I had the privilege of seeing over the Christmas, New Year break.

Parliament Moon in particular, was amazing as a little later on I got to view the comet trailing down to the horizon. Magnificent!

6 Awards at International Association of Panoramic Photographers Contest
    IAPP Awards

It is with immense pride that I announce that I am the recipient of six awards from the International Association of Panoramic Photographers Photo Contest 2006.

The International Association of Panoramic Photographers boasts around 140 photographers from all over the world and includes only eight of us from Australia, including the wonderful Ken Duncan, and I am the only individual female.

I entered six photographs early October into these prestigious awards and thought I might be able to win something with one or two of them.
But when I was notified that I has won an award for all six I was ecstatic!

Watch out for Australian Photography magazine in April where my work will be featured.

'My Favourite Photo of YOURS for the Month'
    John Thailand

My Favourite Photo of YOURS for the Month is from John Clayton of Thailand (at the moment).
John is currently sailing around the coast of magnificent Thailand. John hasn't elaborated as to exactly which outcrop of islands these are, however I am sure you agree that they are stunning!
You may not be able to make it out here but John is pointing to one of the islands and it looks like he is touching it!

I love the colours in this shot. The light is shining on the rock face at just the right angle to show the varying colours of the slope and the shadows are just perfect.
The peppermint blue green of the water and the light blue of the sky convey for me a scene of tranquility.
And then there is John :)
    Thanks so much!

Please keep sending me your photographs, I just love to receive them and I know that there are a lot of you out there that are very very good at photography. So, if you would like your photograph included in the coming months, please send it to me in the smallest size you possibly can.

Tips & Tricks from Australian Photo Review- Busting the Megapixel Myth
    Photo Review Australia Logo

Anyone looking at the cameras the manufacturers have been offering over the past several years could easily believe that the higher the camera's megapixel count the better. But, as the old jazz standard says: 'It ain't necessarily so!'

The only thing more megapixels will give you is the ability to enlarge and crop pictures without individual pixels becoming visible.

Other factors are much more important in determining overall picture quality...

Click on the Photo Review logo and you will be taken to the 'Photo Gallery'. I have a few images on display.

    The Last Word
    Attract Much More in 2007

Wow! It's into the second week of February already.
Are you already asking yourself... "Where are the days going?"
Did you set your New Year's resolutions only to haven't just about forgotten them?

Go on, make 2007 a most wonderful year. Get out and do those things that you have always imagined but couldn't quite see yourself doing because you are too old, too young, don't have enough time, haven't got enough money etc etc.

I have DECIDED this year on a list of goals that include many wonderful exciting dreams and I will achieve them. You can too.

Just before the New Year in my other role in Inspire Your Day Australia, I put together an eBook that will give you strategies to get YOU what you want in 2007 and has been compiled from World leaders in Personal, Professional and Spiritual development; Dr John Demartini, Cyndi O'Meara, Jack Canfield and lots more.

Please feel free to download it as my gift to you to get you on your way in 2007.
Just click on the picture of the eBook and you will be taken to the page to download it. Whilst you are there check out the other FREE Goodies

and also 'The Secret Laws of Attraction' by Dr John Demartini in May.

    Felicitations,
    Tracy
