Greetings!
| This Month's Featured Panorama |
 |
|
'The Swimming Hole, Buderim Falls, QLD, Australia
This Month's Featured Panorama was captured at Buderim Falls about 5 kilometres from Mooloolaba beach.
A spot that is so idyllic and has one of the most beautiful waterfalls I have seen. The water is very refreshing and the scenery breathtaking.
P.S. Can you see the colourful towels in the photograph?
Please Enjoy!

In my Introduction I spoke about an Article that appeared in the November issue of Australian Photography. It was a letter I wrote in October 2006 to 'Viewpoint'. See the article HERE.
The response to the article has been wonderful with emails pouring in thanking me for helping lots of other 'would be' photographers decide to go for their passion!
There are soooo many wonderful photographers in Australia and it's my turn to help!
I am thrilled to introduce to you the stunning photography of
ALAN LAU.
|
Alan Lau is 31 and currently a Physiotherapist.
These are his words: "I first became interested in photography after studying it in high school. The ability to capture and preserve a single moment in time really appealed to me. I have used a variety of compact and SLR film cameras, but it wasn't until about 2 years ago that I purchased my first digital SLR camera.
Digital photography has presented a whole new learning curve, one that I am relishing. I now consider the humble computer as the dark room of the 21st century.
My main photographic interests have been in landscape and travel photography. However, using digital now means freedom to experiment in other facets of this art, without the expense of film.
My goal with photography is to one day become a professional photographer, maybe, the next Ken Duncan! The ultimate would be to work as a travel photographer. To be able to see the world and take photos at the same time, what more could one ask for!"
I thoroughly agree with Alan and I know that he will reach his goal! His work is excellent!
