 Last Wednesday night, 25 November at a Gala affair at the Mooloolaba Surf Club, on the Sunshine Coast, over one hundered guests celebrated the launch of my first book, Inspire Your Day ~ A Little Book of Inspiration.
Designed to be thought-provoking as well as inspirational, the book is a fusion of memorable quotes and breathtaking photographs. The natural landscape of Australia is used to inspire reflection and self-improvement.

| Women into Building Housing Showcase ~ Photographer |

And now for something very different!
I have been invited to be the landscape and interior photographer on an exciting Housing Showcase here on the Sunshine Coast.
The 'Women into Building Showcase' is a project driven by Sam Sheppard from The Buildmore Group and will Women in the construction industry.
The objective of the showcase is to elevate awareness and acceptance of women who choose the industry as a career of choice.
It will also bring attention to the importance in environmental design, small lot housing and sustainable principles.
It will be the first time a project of this scale has been completed through the labour and promotion of a predominantly female team.
I absolutely LOVE the concept and coming from a male dominated profession myself, I am all for helping the wonderful women!
I will am taking progress shots of the building and nearby landscape scenes and once completed, my work will adorn the walls of the house for the display period (2 years) before being marketed for sale.

22 Sleeps until Christmas!!!
Can you believe how fast this year has gone? I definitely can't.
And when I think back on 2009 and everything photographically that I have been up to, I am awestruck.
Photoshoots to the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales and Broome in Western Australia and a photography exhibition in Los Angeles, California, USA. Winning 4 Honourable Mentions in the International Photography Awards in New York and lots of appearances in the gallery of Photo Review Australia. My 'Inspirational Calendar 2010' and now my 'Sunshine Coast Images' DVD. And now to top it all off, I am in the middle of touring with my first book, my 'Inspire Your Day ~ A Little Book of Inspiration'. Launched on the Sunshine Coast on 25 November, then Brisbane 27 to 29 November, Melbourne this Sunday 6 December and Sydney 12 December.
What a sensational year!!! and I want to thank YOU so much for all of your support and love of my photography.
